The residents of Eastcastle Place in Milwaukee got a sneak and delightful peek at traditional Christmas songs as they were artfully crooned by the talented singers of the Castle Choir. December 2nd, Christmas at the Castle was a fun-filled day scheduled for the senior living community’s residents and their families. In addition to a performance by their own Castle Choir, the event included a beautiful high tea, live harp music, traditional bake sale, resident treasure sales, visits and photos with Santa, holiday cocktails, and more.
Christmas at the Castle was a prelude to the upcoming Castle Choir and Ensemble concert, Believe. Musical director Gary Aubry will conduct the annual event which features resident vocalists ages 80-99. The program will include a short audience sing-along. The concert is free and open to the public.
“We’re excited to open the doors of our community to share this very special event with our neighbors,” said Laura Wengler, director of community life at Eastcastle Place.
Believe will be held on December 20th at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Lindsay Hall at Eastcastle Place senior living community, 2505 E Bradford Ave, in Milwaukee.
