Health Fair for Seniors at Eastcastle Place

Seniors in a poolWhat do people 65+ think a senior health fair should be? According to Judy Anderson, Doctor of Physical Therapy and founder/director of Physicians Therapy for University Hospital at Northern Illinois University, and current Eastcastle resident says, “It should be led by professional people and companies to educate seniors about their own health with testing, answers to questions and concerns and address a wide selection of health topics.”

So residents and staff at Eastcastle Place joined Judy to create a truly comprehensive and free Senior Health Fair during National Active Aging Week, on Wednesday, September 26 from 1 to 4 p.m. This committee challenged solution providers of senior health issues to join them. They were enthusiastic about demonstrating what is available to seniors to keep the hop in their step and twinkle in their eyes.
