Eastcastle Place management has decided to invite area residents to get a glimpse of a few of its incomparable apartment homes through its new video series Inside the Castle. Weekly episodes will feature apartment homes that are seldom available for personal viewing. “One of the most appealing features of Eastcastle Place is that it’s a true reflection of the East Side neighborhood, which is vibrant and eclectic,” said Tyler Gudex, executive director. “We are pleased to invite prospective residents to a virtual glimpse of some of our apartment homes.”
Eastcastle Place’s Victorian Gothic style Historic Building dates back to 1892. It was designed by renowned Milwaukee architects Henry Koch and Herman Esser. Within its doors are marvels, including a staircase with Cyril Colnik metalwork, and Tiffany memorial stained glass windows. The 23 apartment homes in the Historic Building are each unique, some including features such as built-in bookcases, beautiful woodwork, columns, balconies, lead glass windows, and double-facing fireplaces.
The Contemporary Building, built in 2006, has 12 unique floor plans of one and two-bedroom apartments. They boast upscale finishes, beautiful detailing, and special features such as fireplaces, balconies, and eye-catching turrets.
