For the third consecutive year, Eastcastle Place’s Bradford Terrace Health and Rehabilitation Center has received the elite designation as being among the Best Nursing Homes by U.S. News and World Report. More than 15,000 nursing homes nationwide were evaluated. By receiving the “high performance” status for short-term rehabilitation, Eastcastle Place places among the top 21% of nursing homes in the nation.

“Choosing the right nursing home based on care needs and comfort is a critical decision for prospective residents and their families,” said Zach Adams, senior health data engineer at U.S. News and World Report. To aid in navigating this important decision. U.S. News and World Report has completed this evaluation for its 13th year. It incorporates quality measures, including care, safety, infection rates, staffing, and health inspections. For the first time, ratings also feature measurements on weekend staffing and infection rates that led to hospitalizations.

“We have earned our reputation for providing the best care,” said Lindsey Viegut, administrator for the Health and Rehabilitation Center. “Being recognized officially is a great testament to our success.”
