They donate their time and energy because they have come to know Eastcastle Place as a tight-knit community where interesting, cultured seniors live each and every day to the fullest. Tyler Gudex

Tyler Gudex

Executive Director

Tyler has worked in senior living, specifically as an Administrator and Executive Director with Life Care Services® for over 13 years. He has spent the last 7 years at Eastcastle Place, as the Executive Director, overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring residents’ needs are not only met but exceeded.

He earned a Master of Business Administration from Carroll University and is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.

Lindsey Viegut

Associate Executive Director

Lindsey has been an Administrator at Eastcastle Place for 6 years and has 9 years of experience in senior living administration. In her role, she oversees healthcare operations for Eastcastle Place, ensuring regulatory compliance and providing great experiences and care.

She has earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Anna Landes

Anna Landes

Director of Sales and Marketing

Anna has over 10 years of experience in senior living and has been with Eastcastle Place for 10 years. She began her experience as an intern in our Aquatics and Fitness program. Now, she leads sales and marketing efforts for independent living, helps prospective residents explore their senior living options, and coordinates a smooth pathway to residency at Eastcastle Place. She is the Director of Sales and Marketing.

She earned a Master of Business Administration from Concordia University and her undergraduate degree from Marquette University.

Michael Brever

Philanthropy Director

As Director of Philanthropy, Mike directs all fundraising activities at Eastcastle Place. He also assists in resident-driven volunteer activities and more. He has been with our team for 5 years and has 44 years of experience in senior management and nonprofit corporations.

He earned a Master of Science in management.

Majarka Ford-Ziegelbauer

Majarka Ford-Ziegelbauer

Hospitality Director

As Director of Hospitality, Majarka oversees the entire community’s food and beverage program, including in-house catering. Her aim is to provide residents with the best meal and service they’re able to. She has over 10 years of experience in resort management and over 20 years in hospitality. She has been with Eastcastle Place for two and a half years.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing from Lakeland University.

Eric Peterson

Eric Peterson

Director of Facilities

Eric serves as Director of Facilities at Eastcastle Place, where he maintains a comfortable environment through maintenance, housekeeping, and landscaping services. He also ensures the safety and security of the grounds and buildings. He has over 19 years of senior living experience, with the last 5 years and 9 months at Eastcastle Place.

He earned an associate in mathematics from Milwaukee Area Technical College and a bachelor in Business Administration from Concordia University.

Jennifer McCuen

Jennifer McCuen

Director of Human Resources

Jennifer has been with Eastcastle Place for 4 years and is the Director of Human Resources. She recruits, onboards, trains, maintains performance management and development, and covers employee benefits packages. She has over 19 years of Human Resources experience.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Teresa Jenkins

Director of Resident Services

Teresa has been a part of Eastcastle Place for the past 27 years. In her role as Director of Resident Services, she provides resident support, and front-desk staff support, and ensures that residents are living in an environment where all their needs are being met, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Brad Sitzberger

Director of Finance

Brad has been at Eastcastle Place for 18 years, but his experience in senior living has lasted over 20 years. As Director of Finance, he provides financial reporting to various parties and oversees billing, payroll, and accounts payable.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration – accounting and management information systems from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Nicole Claas

Director of Social Services

Nicole has over 17 years of experience in senior living, with the last 6 years as Director of Social Services at Eastcastle Place. In this role, she provides care planning, discharge planning, and support to help meet psychosocial needs.

She earned a degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Director of Community Life

As Director of Community Life, Evan is responsible for overseeing a well-rounded activities program, emphasizing the 8 dimensions of wellness. He loves impacting residents’ lives and creating memorable moments.

He has worked in healthcare for 10 years and earned an associate in business management from Milwaukee Area Technical College.

Barb Tice

Board Chair

Barb was born and raised in Milwaukee and currently resides in Franklin. She holds a BBA- Accounting from UW-Milwaukee and is a licensed CPA in the state of Wisconsin. Barb has over 27 years of experience in long-term health care accounting including holding the position of Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for MPH, Eastcastle Place, Inc. and Newcastle Place Inc. for 7 years. Prior to joining MPH, she was employed as a controller for Extendicare Health Services, Inc. for 20 years. She joined the Board as Chairman-Elect upon the conclusion of her employment with MPH in 2013. She currently serves as Chair of the Eastcastle Place Board of Directors.

Nancy O’Donnell

Nancy O’Donnell

Member at Large

Nancy joined the Eastcastle Board in 2015. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and a Master’s Degree in Business Management, and is a retired licensed Stock Broker. As a licensed Nursing Home Administrator, a Professor of Business and Finance at Concordia University, a Personal FInancial Advisor, her motivating force has always been to help people create a better life for themselves. From 1974 until 1990, she worked at several Skilled Nursing facilities in Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties, while also teaching as an Adjunct Faculty member at Concordia University. She later worked as a Stock Broker/Financial Advisor for Ameriprise Financial Services.

George Marek

Attorney Marek practices in the area of environmental law. He regularly counsels clients in transactional due diligence and risk assessment in business and real estate transactions, including environmental assessments and cleanups. He represents one of the nation’s largest retail and grocery stores in the due diligence and construction of new store loca-tions in Wisconsin. Mr. Marek’s practice includes the redevelopment of Brownfields sites, the remediation of Superfund and other contaminated properties, advising clients on wind farm projects, underground and above-ground storage tank regulation, and coordinating the investigation and remediation of toxic mold. He also represents corporate, municipal and individual clients in environmental enforcement matters. Education and Honors: Harvard Law School (J.D., cum laude, 1990); Harvard University (B.A., magna cum laude, 1984)
Katie Tillmar

Katie Tillmar

HR curriculum development

Katie has spent the last 28+ years in Human Resources; guiding companies to happier and more productive employees, via professional development, employment law, employee relations, etc. For the past 3 years, Katie has served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources with Novus Home Mortgage; a $2.6 billion dollar mortgage company, headquartered in Brookfield, WI. She has spent most of her career in the financial and health care sector, including long term care. Katie sits on the HR advisory board of MATC, assisting with HR curriculum development, and is co-chair of GLN, an HR Professional Network in Southeast WI. Katie is a mom to Connor, 15, who attends Whitefish Bay High School and plays baseball for the Blue Dukes. Her father lives in Bayside and is an avid golfer, who enjoys spending time with family. Katie and Connor live in Whitefish Bay with two rescue dogs (Clover and Kirby) and spend time going to Connor’s baseball games, gathering with friends, and traveling. Katie strives for open, honest, and respectful communication. She believes in building relationships and excels in problem solving with forward facing, innovative ideas for the greater good.

Julie Bissonnette

Julie joined the Board in 2021. She has over 15 years of experience as a leader in the senior living industry across the country. Her most recent role was as the Executive Director of Newcastle Place from 2012 to 2020.

Julie earned her Bachelors of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire and is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. In 2020, she transitioned her focus to become a stay-at-home parent to support her family including her 9-year-old son (Casey) and 5-year-old daughter (Brianna) through the pandemic.

Julie grew up in Sussex, Wisconsin and has enjoyed living in Connecticut, North Carolina, and Indiana throughout her career. She and her husband are now raising their family in Mequon, Wisconsin. Julie continues to enjoy the opportunity to share her experience and knowledge of the senior living industry with Eastcastle Place. She is passionate about resident and team engagement, high satisfaction levels, providing quality care, advancing the community’s mission, and working collaboratively with the Eastcastle Place leadership team to achieve organizational and financial goals.

Dr. Havilah Normington-Gomes

Dr. Havilah Normington-Gomes

Dr. Normington-Gomes has been an extremely valuable source of information regarding our senior population and has provided guidance to our Management group on a number of topics. She is currently an Associate Professor of Nursing at the MSOE Nursing School. Dr. Normington-Gomes received her nursing degrees (RN and Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner Degree) from the University of Wisconsin and Marquette University. In 2019 she earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice Degree. Her expertise is in the areas of adult primary care, clinical nursing and adult nursing. Her nursing affiliations include membership in the following organizations: American Nurses Association of Wisconsin, National League of Nurses, MSOE Nursing Honor Society. Dr. Normington and her husband Chris live in the Hartland WI area.

I was born and raised in Milwaukee by my wonderful parents Dr and Mrs. Randle Pollard (Micki) My mother currently resides here at East Castle Place. I have a BS in Medical Record Administration from Clark Atlanta University. I worked in that field for 6 years and decided to go back to school to become an educator. I have a degree in early childhood education as well as a certification in Reading. have worked with early childhood children for 30 years and now I am an adjunct instructor for the School of Education at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I am married to Ronald Williamson, my husband of 33years. We have two grown children who live in the Milwaukee area. Ourson, Ronald Bennett, is the assistant manager of Allen Edmonds Shoes at the Pfister Hotel. Our daughter, Olivia, is a 6th-grade math teacher at Milwaukee Academy of Science.

Senior Vice President, Controller of Physicians Realty Trust, a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) based in Milwaukee, which owns and manages outpatient medical facilities across the country. Ms. Becker oversees Corporate Accounting and Property Accounting, including managing SEC reporting, SOX compliance, and monthly and quarterly consolidation. Ms. Becker has over 20 years of accounting experience including starting her career in Big 4 public accounting. She has more than 15 years of corporate controllership experience, and previously spent over five years as Controller of Koss Corporation (NASDAQ: KOSS), where she was brought on to help to lead the company through a significant restatement following a financial fraud. Ms. Becker earned her Executive MBA from Marquette University where she graduated Beta Gamma Sigma and received her BBA in accounting and risk management from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
